Apple Accidentally reveals future iPhone plans

There is a lot of source for Apple Leaks and Apple itself is not an exception. Apple accidentally reveals its plans for the future iPhone on the same day that the company reported its iPhone sales.

As of the PantentlyApple, Apple reveals its plans for the upcoming Touch ID. Yes, Touch ID is coming back with an upgraded version.

Apple’s new patent named “Methods of biometric imaging of input surfaces” will use the acoustic waves produced from an iPhone display to read the users fingerprint by creating a 3D map. This may sound familiar like the new Samsung Galaxy S10’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, but this technology lets the user place the finger anywhere on the screen. This removes the limitation that Galaxy S10 has.

The company also stats that it can also utilize multiple topography techniques, such as reflection, diffraction, and transmission to build a 3D map of your fingertip. In the meanwhile, the acoustic imaging system can also monitor heart and respiration rates and blood oxygenation. Something that Apple is trying hard to hide from us is the design of iDevice that this tech will be used on.

Why Apple is caring so much for bringing back Touch ID? Because its good to have two biometric in the palm of your hand. And also lot of people are still addicted to TouchID lock as their primary source of biometric login.

However, Apple has not officially confirmed when will this tech goes live in action.

“Apple’s granted patent was originally filed in Q3 2016 and published today by the US Patent and Trademark Office” as per PatentlyApple
