How to cancel a subscription on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch

Last updated:

Do you want to end the subscription of the Apple services which you have been paying since then or just want to cancel your free trial before it ends? It’s quite simple and easy to do.

Most people want to try out Apple services when they first join the Apple ecosystem. Luckily Apple provides three months of the trial to most of its services. Everything will be good when the user opts-in for the services but the real problem or headache occurs when the user forgets to cancel the subscriptions when they don’t really want to pay for the services to continue.

Once the trial period ends, Apple will start charging for its services and it continues until the subscription is canceled. Fortunately, unsubscribing is pretty simple and easy to do.

Cancel your subscription on Apple TV:

However, it won’t work for the Apple TV 3rd generation or earlier.

  1. Go to Settings and select Users & Accounts.
  2. On the following screen, select your Account and select Subscriptions.
  3. Choose the subscription you want to cancel and select Cancel Subscription.

If you don’t have an Apple device, you can use a PC to cancel the subscriptions by using the iTunes method.

Did you tried all the above methods but still haven’t seen any subscriptions? That means you currently don’t have any active subscriptions and need not worry about getting charged. The active subscriptions list also includes all the apps from the app store and in a rare case, some apps might be missing. In that situation, you can head over to the app and look for an option to cancel the subscription.
